The Lifeguard belay device with assisted braking is compact, light and durable. Only 8 cm ‘tall’ and 154 grams ‘big’ makes it the smallest automatic belay device in the world. They are constructed using hot forged aircraft-grade aluminium and stainless steel for increased durability. The Lifeguard can be used with classic belay techniques with single ropes ranging from 8.9 to 11 mm for lead and top-rope climbing. The smallest and lightest automatic belay device out there.
